Refresh!

Father God,

Refresh my soul. Refresh my soul oh God. I don't know what I'm feeling or what I'm going through now, but Father, You know exactly what I'm going through. My heart is not settled and I don't know why.  Father God, oh Father God -- refresh my spirit, my soul, my being! it seems that I couldn't receive anything from Your Word.  It's like something is hindering me from worshiping You.

If there is anything I need to confess to You, let Your Holy Spirit reveal it to me, Father. I need Your refreshment. I need Your revival.  I need to "relive." Father, I long for You, and I don't want to be "de-wired" from You.

Oh Father God, refresh  my spirit, my soul, and my being! In Jesus' name. Amen.

I just want to take time to say this despite busyness.

Thank You, Lord!
Thank You, Lord!
Thank You, Lord!
Thank You, Lord!
Thank You, Lord!
Thank You, Lord

Thank You for what You have done.
Thank You for what You are doing.
And thank You, Lord,
for what You will be doing.

Thank You, Lord.
I say, THANK YOU. Thank you!

Counter-check. Cross-examine.

17 I urge you, brothers and sisters, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put obstacles in your way that are contrary to the teaching you have learned. Keep away from them. 18 For such people are not serving our Lord Christ, but their own appetites. By smooth talk and flattery they deceive the minds of naive people. 19 Everyone has heard about your obedience, so I rejoice because of you; but I want you to be wise about what is good, and innocent about what is evil.
- Romans 16: 17-19

Paul is warning the church to watch out for those people who cause divisions and who teach contrary to the Word. Such people deceive many especially the naive.  Such people have other agenda and wrong motives. Paul urges the church to be wise about what is good and be innocent about what is evil.

God our Savior

  Psalm 65

Praise awaits you, our God, in Zion;
to you our vows will be fulfilled.
You who answer prayer,
to you all people will come.
When we were overwhelmed by sins,
    you forgave our transgressions.
Blessed are those you choose
and bring near to live in your courts!
We are filled with the good things of your house,
    of your holy temple.
You answer us with awesome and righteous deeds,
    God our Savior,
the hope of all the ends of the earth
    and of the farthest seas,
