Be Strong and Courageous

"Be strong and courageous, because you will lead these people to inherit the land I swore to their forefathers to give them.  Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to obey all the law my servant Moses gave you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may be successful wherever you go.  Do not let this Book of the Law depart from your mouth; meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do everything written in it.  Then you will be prosperous and successful.  Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go."
- Joshua 1:6-9

Father God, thank You for the assurance of Your Presence in me.  Thank You for Your encouraging Word.  Lord, when You say You will be with me, I can count on You. This I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

Latter Rain

Latter Rain

The Latter Rain is coming and it will be outpouring.

I can sense its coming and I will see it and receive it.

The outpouring of God's Spirit. The revival. It's coming soon.

I praise You, God! Praise You! Praise God! Praise God!

Living Dead

How many people are there in the world who are living aimlessly?  How many are there who are living without a purpose? How many are there out of billion people who are living in this world just to exist, but are not actually "living life?" I ask myself on this; I keep asking God on this lately.

Just how many people in this world are living meaninglessly?  I wonder, do they, at one point in their lives, ask themselves, "What am I here for? Why am I alive?" How many exactly? How many are there exactly who do not have an idea of being "alive?" How many are there who even do not realize that they need to ask themselves this question? How many? Just how many?

He is Not Here. He Has Risen!

The day that changed everything. He is not here for He has risen. Jesus conquered death and in Him is life. A glorious resurrection Sunday everyone!

Mark 16

1 When the Sabbath was over, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices so that they might go to anoint Jesus’ body. 2 Very early on the first day of the week, just after sunrise, they were on their way to the tomb 3 and they asked each other, “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb?”

4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone, which was very large, had been rolled away. 5 As they entered the tomb, they saw a young man dressed in a white robe sitting on the right side, and they were alarmed.

6 “Don’t be alarmed,” he said. “You are looking for Jesus the Nazarene, who was crucified. He has risen! He is not here. See the place where they laid him. 7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galilee. There you will see him, just as he told you.’”

Never Left Alone

If you love me, you will obey what I command.  And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor to be with you forever -- the Spirit of truth.  The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him.  But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.  I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you.
- John 14: 15-18
Holy Spirit Counselor

Jesus did not leave the world and gave His disciples with nothing.  Before He left, He assured His disciples that He will be with them in Spirit. The same goes for us. The Holy Spirit, the Counselor, is the One living in us.  Though we may not see Him, we know that He is living in us.  Jesus promised that He will not leave us as orphans but that He will come to us in the form of Holy Spirit.

We, the children of God, are never left alone in this world.  God sent the Counselor, the Spirit of truth, to reside in us teaching us, reminding us of Jesus' words, convicting us of sin, showing us God's righteousness, guiding us in truth, giving us insight into the future events, giving us understanding, and bringing glory to Christ.
